Our vehicles were all basically like this....six bucket seats and a roof that opened up and allowed us to stand and take pictures.

A baby monkey came over to see what we were all about.

This was not the rainy season so the lake was quite low.

Baboons seemed to dominate the landscape.

Lake Manyara is know for it birds.  Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of this one.

Hippos typically lounge around in the water during the day and climb on shore to feed at night.

As the child gets larger it migrates from the belly to the back of the  mother.
