A religious shrine where a visitation of the image of the Virgin Mary is said to have taken place.

The round structure houses the alter of the church.

We went into the basilica thinking that the mass would be over soon and we could better see the inside.  Unfortunately the mass was a celebration for newly ordained priests.  It was so crowded we couldn't move, and with no end in sight, we left.
