Southwest Photo Trip - March-April 2004
We took a road trip in March of 2004 to Sante Fe to visit our friends Mike and Rose who were wintering there. We took Steve and Heather, mutual friends and decided to take advantage of the location. We took the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Grand Canyon on the way out there. While in Sante Fe, we made a side trip to Bandelier National Monument. After Steve and Heather left, I drove Tam to the airport and set out on another photo taking adventure to Canyon De Chelly, the Four-Corners area, Mesa Verde and Arches National Park.

While driving from Mesa Verde to Arches, I stopped to visit Hovenweep National Monument, an archeological site where ancesters of today's Pueblo Indians once lived, and Goosenecks State park, a very interesting geological site where the San Juan River created a series of serpentine curves.
