A must see is Mardi Gras world. It's amazing what goes into making the floats.
What can I say?
Never to be outdone. . .
We were there the week after Mardi Gras and they were already working on next year's floats.
The figures are made out of foam, paper mache or fiberglass or a combination.
Many of the figures are created by modifying figures from past parades.
For intricate designs, a CNC machine is used to carve the statue out of foam.

I know who this is supposed to be but why? It's not even funny.
