We have been to France on a number of occasions but have either gone to Paris or the coastal areas of Normandy and the Atlantic coast.  We had a desire to visit the interior sections.  We found a river cruise offered through Tauck which traveled up the Rhone and Saone rivers and took us through the wine regions of Provence, the Rhone Valley and Burgundy.  The cruise was given by Tauck Tours whom we've traveled with in the past.  In fact the ship we traveled on was the same ship that was used on our Danube cruise.

We also had the pleasure of traveling with my sister and brother-in-law and mutual friends Jack and Carole.

It was a fabulous trip and it left us wanting to come back and experience the area in greater depth.
