Park Avenue

The La Sal mountains seen from the overlook across from Park Avenue. Not much snow this year.

Delicate Arch. We decided against walking to the arch and shot it from the viewing area below.

The bolders in the foreground fell from the arch in 1940, doubling the size of the arch.

These rock formations fascinated me. They look like books or platters standing up on end.

One afternoon we took the 62 mile La Sal mountain loop. Along the way we came up these formations called The Priest and the Nuns.
