My son and his wife took me to Sequoia and Kings Canyon for a long weekend of hiking and picture taking. While I had been to Sequoia twice before, I had never been to Kings Canyon. It far exceeded my expectations although to really appreciate it you need to back-pack overnight. We spent two days exploring Sequoia and one day at Kings Canyon.
