This shot was taken from the Canyon Overlook at the end of the Canyon Overlook Trail. Notice the serpentine track of the Mount Carmel Highway, making it's way down the canyon. I had hiked this trail just before dawn to capture this picture. The problem was the the light difference between the canyon walls and the canyon floor was so great that the picture didn't come out well. So after breakfast, I made the 1.5 mile round trip hike again and shot this picture.
