Sipapu Trail

I attempted to hike down to the bridge for a better set of pictures. The sign at the trail head warned hikers that this was a strenuous hike; 0.6 miles in length, dropping 500 feet, needing to scale three ladders, two flights of stairs and numerous handrails. Well I was still up for it. With my backpack secure to free up my hands, off I went. Well I only made it 0.2 miles and 247 feet down. Here's a picture of the first ladder I climbed down. The hike was not that strenuous. The problem was ICE. This portion of the trail doesn't see the sun and melting snow from above freezes on the trail. I quit while I was ahead and took the following pictures from a bluff over the bridge.
