We took a 14 day cruise of the eastern Mediterranean with our friends, Jane and Georgie from Massachusetts. The cruise was titled "Ancient Legacies" and was offered by Oceania Cruise Lines. We had sailed with them before and even sailed on the same ship. We had a great time. The only down side was where our other cruises afforded us several days at sea to relax and enjoy the ship, tis cruise only had one day at see and because of all there is to see, the shore excursions began early in the morning necessitating us to get up before six.

We ended the cruise by spending an extra three nights in Rome. We had been there before and there was much more that we wanted to see and do.
