As we left Eagle Lake, the trail was completely covered with snow and traveled along the side of a steep slope. We tried going on. What we didn't realize was than the snow was piled on top of brush and when we walked on the melting snow, we would fall through. I fell through up to my crotch and Chris has to help me up. That told us our journey on this trial had ended.
