The inner circles show the relative positions of five planets: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury, together with lunar phases and the position of the Sun in the zodiac. The outer dial shows the hour on a 24 hour clock basis (roman numerals again). So the hour is 14 and time displayed above it was 2:40 PM
