On of the highlights of this trip was our visit to Saint Peters. We had a guided tour which covered a fair amount of the history and art in the church, we had no free time to explore. We had hoped to visit the grotto where many popes are entombed or climb to the top of the church. These will have to wait until our next trip to Rome.
