The British are constructing a bridge across the Gulf at it's mouth. The will eliminate the need for the ferries that shuttle across the mouth today. Since Greece is considered a third world country, aid is pouring into the country from the rest of the European Community. Quite a topic amonst the multinationals who are working on these projects.
