Fourteen monuments and temples were rescued (and moved) from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. This is Kalabsha Temple, a Nubian temple that was originally 50 kilometers to the south. With financial help from the German government, it was cut into 13,000 blocks and reassembled on this site.
