The main reason for coming to Page was to visit Antelope Canyon and the Glen Canyon Dam. I considered using Page as a base camp to visit the Vermillion Hills National Monument. This proved to be unrealistic as most of the sites I would want to see are over 2o miles from the main road. Not exactly a day's hike.
