Our second morning of the workshop was spent shooting mountain bikers on a narrow trail outside of town. So here we were, thirty five photographers trying to spread out along this narrow trail shooting the bikers and trying to step far enough away where one can pan and get a sense of motion. While I had my tripod, I did not use it. In hind sight, that was a mistake. At least with a tripod, I'd only have to worry about motion in one direction.
