Zabriskie point is probably the most photographed feature in Death Valley. Known for it's marble cake like layering, the point is bet photographed in the morning sun. On the morning we went there we ran into broken clouds which at times softened the light. However the treat for me was when we came back around noon the following day and hiked the 2.5 miles down through the canyon to Badwater road. This provided a very different perspective than at the visitor's overlook.
