We have been doing a fair amount of traveling over the past six years and this has kept us from tending to needed maintanence around the house. So this year we decided to slow down a bit and tend to items closer to home. The major project was replacing our driveway, which for the most part was in reasonable shape except for the fact that the redwood tree in our front yard was lifting the pavement. We decided to go to pavers such that dealing with roots in the future would be easier. As you can see in the following pictures, this was quite a project.
