The last stop on our tour was Shanghai. Shanghai is not noted for it's tourist sites but what a place to shop. Which is what we did. My guess is that if the girls had their way, they would still be there haggling with the vendors. We started our tour of Shanghai by visiting the TV tower, also known as the Eastern Pearl Tower. That evening we started our shopping adventures by checking out the shops in the vicinity of the hotel.

The next morning, we were off to the Silk Factory where we saw how silk cocoons were turned into thread and bunting for comforters. We also had an opportunity to shop for Silk goods as well. The rest of the day was spent shopping at establishments ranging from sleazy back alley establishments to very upscale department stores. We ended the day with a short stroll along the riverfront, an area call The Bund.

Our final morning included a quick tour of the Shanghai museum on our way to the airport. The final leg of our journey to the airport was on board the worlds first Magnetic Levitation train traveling at 431 km/hour (268 mph). Without any seat belts I may add.
