Of the three cities visited, Beijing had the most to see. We had a very packed three days in Beijing and enjoyed every minute of it. First on our tour was Tiananmen Square followed by the Forbidden City. We then had lunch at the Beihai park and toured the Summer Palace in the afternoon. That evening we attended an acrobatics show which far exceeded my expectations. The next day we visited the Ming Tombs followed by a visit to the Great Wall. We ended the day with a feast of Peking Duck. Our final day encompassed a visit to the Temple of Heaven before departing for Xi'an.
