The map above highlights the path that we took. Our trip started in George Town, at the southern end of the Exuma chain of islands. The Exuma chain consists of about 400 islands spread out over a hundred and fifty or so miles. We spent about nine days in the Exumas and then headed on to Nassau on New Providence island, followed by the Berry and Bimini islands and ended our journey in West Palm Beach Florida. It was great seeing our friends again and while the sailing in the Bahamas was quite interesting, there really isn't much to attract us into going back any time soon. (Been there...done that).

I need to point out that the light blue area in the map above denotes water that is less than 5-6 meters deep! At many points while we were sailing, we would encounter depths of 2 meters on the "open waters". This coupled with a pure white sand bottom, with no vegetation, made it feel like sailing in a very large swimming pool.

We hope you enjoy the pictures and the commentary.
