We had planned to attend the silver jubilee celebration of my niece, who is in a cloistered convent on the Isle of Wight. The celebration was planned for April but had to be moved out becasue her father became very sick and we were not sure he would be up to the travel in April. Since my younger sister and I had already made plans to go and visit southern England and Ireland, we decided to go in any case. However we would not recommend visiting England and Ireland in April unless you are into wet weather.

After visiting Ryde, we traveled to Salisbury England and then on to the Cotswolds Region. We also visited Oxford before traveling on to Dublin. and spending eight days in Ireland. We truly enjoyed ourselves and hope you enjoy the pictures.
