We were treated to a traditional sword dance called the Moreska. The town is well know for this dance. The dance originated in Spain and is associated with the conflict between the Moors and Christians. The dance follows the story of the conflict between the Red King versus the Black King and their soldiers, as Bula - the Red King's fiancée is captured by the Black army. Following the dialogues between Kings, the romantic and ritualized sword battle starts.
