The cathedral of St. Stephen

Like most churches in the area, construction was done on the remains of the late-Gothic cathedral of the 15th century, which inturn was built on the former church of St. Maria di Lesna and the medieval Benedictine abbey. This seems to play out for most of the churches in the area.
