We were following a route spelled out in the book, "How to Photograph the Canadian Rockies". It described a point along the route as "The Big Hill" beyond which was an often overlooked canyon which was quite beautiful. Well we traveled the whole route and never did see a sign for "The Big Hill". On the way back, Tamara spotted the gorge and we pulled over at the top of the hill where there was a turn off. The author literally meant the top of the hill as you were driving. He then went on to describe a bridge about 100 meters past the big hill which crosses a gorge. Well in this picture the two guardrails on either side of the road ahead is "The Bridge". It's no wonder we missed it on the way out. We walked on down there and were treated to a beautiful sight. One that we would normally have missed......
