We took a back road back to Jasper from the Athabasca Falls. On the way we decided to hike to a small lake to take some pictures. We ran into a swarm of mosquitos that saw us as dinner. After hiking a little over a mile and then finding no easy way to get down to the waters edge, swatting mosquitos all the way, we decided to head back to the car. I stumbled onto this patch of wild flowers and couldn't resist a shot.
