Spiral Tunnel

Seen here are two train tunnel entrances (upper left and lower right). While at two different elevations, these two entrances are at either end of the same tunnel which spirals up underground. This set is part of two sets of spiral tunnels which allow the trains to travel over Kicking Horse Pass. (Move the mouse over the picture to see a diagram of the spiral tunnel complex.)
